    Driver and Passenger Claims

If you were injured as a driver or passenger in a collision that was not your fault, you may be able to claim compensation.

    This can include:

    • Pain and suffering caused by your injuries
    • Loss of earnings (past and future)
    • Medical and rehabilitation costs
    • Travel and associated expenses

Passengers are almost always considered non-fault parties and are entitled to pursue a claim against the responsible driver.

Common Types of Road Traffic Accidents

    Rear-end collisions

These occur when one vehicle strikes the back of another. In many cases, the driver behind is found to be at fault for failing to maintain a safe distance.

    Junction and side-road accidents

Often caused by a driver pulling out without properly checking for oncoming traffic.

    Lane change and overtaking incidents

Accidents can occur when drivers fail to check mirrors or blind spots before manoeuvring.

    Head-on collisions

These are less common but can result in serious injuries. They are often caused by driver error, fatigue, or loss of control.

    Uninsured or Untraced Drivers

If you were involved in an accident with an uninsured or untraced driver, you may still be able to make a claim through the Motor Insurers’ Bureau (MIB).

    We can assist with:

    • Reporting requirements
    • Evidence gathering
    • Submitting and managing your claim

    Motorcycle and Bicycle Accidents

Motorcyclists and cyclists are particularly vulnerable on the road and often suffer more serious injuries in collisions.

    Claims may arise from:

    • Poor driving by other road users
    • Unsafe overtaking
    • Road defects or poor conditions
    • Failure to observe cyclists or motorcyclists

We provide practical advice tailored to the circumstances of your accident.

    Pedestrian Accidents

Pedestrians are among the most vulnerable road users.

    Common scenarios include:

    • Being struck while crossing the road
    • Accidents at crossings
    • Vehicles failing to stop or give way

If you have been injured as a pedestrian due to a driver’s negligence, you may be entitled to pursue a claim.

    ‘Excellent’ service

We are proud of the service we provide and the results we achieve for our clients.

Example Case Study – What’s My Claim Worth Obtained £45,000 Settlement Following Cycling Accident

Mr W sustained serious injuries when he was struck by a driver who pulled out of a junction without due care and attention.

As a result of the collision, Mr W suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured left hip, a head injury, and a laceration requiring staples. The hip injury also increased the likelihood that he will require a total hip replacement within 10 to 15 years.

During the course of the claim, we secured an interim payment to provide financial support while the case was ongoing.

Due to his injuries, Mr W was no longer able to cycle to the same extent as before the accident. We therefore ensured that his claim reflected the full impact of the incident, including the cost of alternative travel arrangements and the purchase of an automatic vehicle.

We successfully negotiated a settlement of £45,000, reflecting both his injuries and associated financial losses.
